Shovgi Huseynov, senior researcher of the laboratory "Molecular bases of integrative activity" of the Institute of Physiology named after academician Abdulla Garayev of ANAS, took part in the international forum.

The young scientist made a presentation at an online forum that was run from Glasgow, Scotland and was jointly sponsored by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Federation of European Societies for Neuroscience (FENS).

At the event, Sh. Huseynov made an electronic poster presentation in English on the topic: "The participation of the serotonergic system in the suppression of drug addiction in two different ways." Based on the pre-established requirements, the scientist was awarded the PERC grant as the best speaker and was exempted from the participation fee and membership fee.
