On November 13-15, 2017, the training was held in Baku within the framework of the International School of Gerontology and Geriatrics with the joint organizational support of the International Institute on Aging UN-Malta, Azerbaijan Society of Gerontologists and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

On June 1-2, 2018, in Naftalan, the Institute of Physiology jointly with the Park of High Technologies with the organizational support of the Presidium of the ANAS and the Executive Power of Naftalan city held the international scientific-practical conference - "Naftalan-2018".

The conference was dedicated to the issues and prospects of using innovative products based on Naftalan oil in the health resort and medical rehabilitation sectors. Along with scientists from Azerbaijan, the conference was attended by the scientists and specialists from the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Georgia.
