On 26 December, 2018  the musical New Year's eve was held at the Assembly Hall of the Institute of Physiology, organized for the institute’s staff.

     The performers were Mubariz Aliyev, Associate Professor of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Ph.D. in Arts Studies singing “Gaitagi”, “Dilgami” mugams together with his students Ramal Huseynov, Ismail Ismailov, Samir Aliyev, Shirinbala Shirinov, as well as Anar Nabiyev, the winner of the “Halg Uluzu” contest singing “Celeslem Seni”, “Azerbaijan” songs, Sona Narimangyzy, young singer, Elsever Muradov, winner of the first place in the international mugam competition, winner of the presidential award, winner of the television mugham competition, Orhan Huseynli, Sedef Budagova, Ruslan Ismailov and many other participants. The event was also attended by Salim Nasirli, teacher-singer and gezelkhan of the music school number 20 named after Shovket Alekperova, who has great merits in mugam music, singing with “Bayati Shiraz Tesnifi” mugham and his students.

     New Year's eve was organized at a high level. Live national music was warmly welcomed by the staff of the institute.
