The Dictionary of physiological terms (Russian, English, Azerbaijani) contains about 4000 terms widely used in modern physiology, as well as in other related fields of science. The structure of the dictionary is based on the Cyrillic alphabet in the Russian-English-Azerbaijani format, and the scientific definition of the terms is given in the Azerbaijani language. The dictionary is intended for specialists in the field of human and animal physiology, physicians, tutors and researchers of medical universities, as well as translators. Biology and medicine students and masters will also be able to use the dictionary as a supplementary teaching material.
It should be noted that the first Russian-Azerbaijani dictionary on human and animal physiology was compiled in 1960 by academician Abdulla Garayev and professor Maharram Mustafayev.
