Discussions were held on the results of the international project "Nizami Ganjavi and Shota Rustaveli" jointly implemented by the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, the Institute of Georgian Literature named after Shota Rustaveli and the University of Cambridge.

Institute of Literature is represented in the three-year project and program by the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the institution, academician Isa Habibbayli and employees of the Department of Nizami Studies.

Speaking at the online meeting, academician Isa Habibbayli informed about the work done on the project. He noted the development of Azerbaijani-Georgian literary relations in recent years, calling Nizami Ganjavi and Shota Rustaveli the founders of the Caucasian renaissance. The academician noted that along with the Western and Eastern renaissance, there was also the Caucasian renaissance, and Khagani Shirvani, Nizami Ganjavi, Mahsati Ganjavi from Azerbaijan and Shota Rustaveli from Georgia were the main creators of this great movement.
