For almost a month now, under the order and direct leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, in response to the attacks of the Armenian aggressors, the glorious Azerbaijani army has been conducting counter-offensive operations in the occupied territories. As a result of successful combat operations, the fortification line built by the enemy was broken, numerous Armenian troops and military equipment were destroyed, and a significant part of the historical Azerbaijani lands under occupation was liberated from occupation. As a result of great courage and special professionalism of the glorious Azerbaijani army, the tricolor Azerbaijani flag is now proudly flying over the liberated territories - Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Hadrut, Sugovushan, on the Khudafarin Bridge, a symbol of historical unity and heroism of our people. Currently, military operations are underway to liberate other occupied territories from the enemy.

Undoubtedly, these victories were possible due to the successful state policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the building of an army in accordance with modern requirements and the right diplomatic efforts. At present, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, successfully leads military operations, works tirelessly on the diplomatic front with his deep intellect, professionalism, determination and will in modern conditions, characterized by very complex geopolitical processes.

Today, regardless of age, ethnic and religious affiliation, social origin, all the people of Azerbaijan are united around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev to contribute to the victories of our army on the front.

Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, which has been the main center of the republic's scientific potential since the beginning of hostilities and is represented by a large part of the country's intelligentsia, is also actively involved in these processes. On the first day of the war, on September 27, the Presidium of ANAS under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief made a statement in support of the glorious march of our glorious army.

In order to provide more organized material and moral, intellectual and information support of numerous staff of ANAS to the army, the Operational Headquarters was established at the Academy in the first days of the combat operations.

INFORMATION on donations transferred from the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to the Armed Forces Assistance Fund
