The publication of articles of ANAS scientists about the realities of Azerbaijan and the atrocities committed by Armenians in our lands during and after the war was significantly limited in some European countries with the participation of pro-Armenian forces and the Armenians themselves.
This was stated by the first vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli, speaking about the activities of scientists and academicians of the country in the information war during the Great Patriotic War and now.
“ANAS takes an active part in the information war during and after the Karabakh war. President of the Academy Ramiz Mehdiyev addressed an appeal to the President of the Academy of Sciences and the rector of the university from 73 countries on the current situation and the terrorist activities of Armenians. At the same time, an open letter critical of French President Emmanuel Macron was sent on behalf of the academy. In addition, the staff of the academy periodically made speeches in this direction in the country's media and social networks. Also, in the Eastern countries, in the Arabic-language press, many employees of ANAS published articles on this topic in Arabic..."
I.Habibbayli said that work is being done in this direction in the post-war period.
