International Computer Security Day has been celebrated all over the world for 32 years. In 1988, the American Computer Equipment Association declared November 30 as International Computer Security Day.

The purpose of announcing this day was to remind everyone of the importance of protecting computer information, as well as to draw the attention of users and manufacturers of hardware and software to security issues.
