On February 5, 2019 a scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of modern biology" was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the ANAS in honor of the day of youth on February 2.

        In this conference researchers from the Institute of Physiology took an active part: PhD in Biology Zenfira Gadimov, Leading Researcher of the "Physiology of Longevity" laboratory, Nigar Teymurova, junior researcher; PhD in Biology Leyla Gadirova, Senior Researcher of the "Biochemistry of ontogenesis" laboratory, Zarnigar Gasymova, senior laboratory technician; Ayten Muradova, junior researcher of the "Ecotoxicology" Laboratory; Nigar Huseynova, junior researcher of the "Neurophysiology" Laboratory; Sevinj Guliyev, Researcher of the "Pharmacology of natural geroprotectors" Laboratory.

            Two researchers of the institute made presentations: Nigar Teymurova - "The effect of exogenous factors and stress factors on the aging process" and Leila Gadirova - "The effect of prenatal stress, which affects organogenesis on glutamate synthesis in mitochondria in various brain structures in rat offspring".

            All the above listed participants were awarded a certificate.
