Shovgi Bayram oglu Huseynov, Ph.D. in Biology, Senior Researcher of the "Molecular Basics of Integrative Activity" Laboratory  of the Institute of Physiology, ANAS successfully completed and received a certificate (with a score of 93.2%) in "Introduction to the Biology of Cancer", a course of study offered by Jones University Hopkins (USA) which is considered the best in the world in the field of medicine and biology over the past 30 years.

The courses included lectures on etiology (cause of the diseases), pathogenesis (mechanisms of development), genetics, methods of diagnosis and treatment of cancer diseases, as well as a wide range of studies in that direction, which are carried out currently in the world and planned for the future.

It is assumed that the knowledge gained from the course will be utilized in the research conducted at the Institute of Physiology.
