A strain of pure copper-producing bacteria has been found in a mine in the Brazilian state of Para.
An article about this was published in the scientific journal "Science Advances".
It is said that the authors of the discovery are scientists from the University of Houston.
It was also noted that an unusual bacterium of the genus "Bacillus" was discovered during the study of microbes in the frost.
