Institute of Physiology named after academician Abdulla Garayev of ANAS has carried out preventive and disinfection measures against the epidemic of coronavirus (COVID-19).

A disinfection of laboratory premises, conference rooms, libraries and corridors of the scientific institution was carried out to ensure the implementation of the "Action Plan to intersect the spread of the new coronavirus in Azerbaijan."

Institute of Physiology conducts consistent measures to prevent the risk of coronavirus infection and to strengthen appropriate preventive measures. At the same time, with the participation of representatives of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Institute staff was provided with information about complications and methods of protection against coronavirus. It has been reported that if you experience headaches, fever, coughing, sneezing, loss of appetite and gastrointestinal upsets, you should consult a doctor immediately. As preventive measures, frequent washing of hands, disinfection of hands with an alcohol solution, thorough boiling of meat products, increasing immunity and taking vitamin C are necessary.
