A documentary has been casted on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of prominent scientist, academician Abdulla Garayev, who made great contributions to the establishment and development of physiology in Azerbaijan.

The film, made by the Institute of Physiology of ANAS named after the prominent scientist, glances at the life and work of academician A.Garayev and talks about his research in the development of physiology.

The documentary tells about the meaningful life of the scientist, whose name is written in golden letters as the founder of the National School of Physiology in the history of science in Azerbaijan. It provides detailed information about his researches in the direction of healing effects of Naftalan oil, which has no analogues in the world, healing waters of Azerbaijan (Badamli, Istisu, Turshsu, etc.), as well as preparations made from medicinal plants to the human organism, including his manuals and pedagogical-social activities.

In the screenplay, prominent Azerbaijani scientists also shared their memories of academician A.Garayev and expressed valuable opinions about him.
