The Wikipedia Training Center of the Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences held training seminars for some staff members of the Institute of Physiology. The researchers of the laboratories "Pharmacology of natural geroprotectors", "Morphofunctional plasticity of the cell" and "Neurophysiology" took part in them. The aim of the training was to gain knowledge and skills in posting and editing articles on Wikipedia. On the first day of the training, the Head of the Training Division of the Free Resources Department, Gunay Mammadova, presented detailed information on the history and general concepts of Wikipedia. The following days of the seminar were held by the specialists of the department, Rajab Hasanbayev and Nurai Tanryverdiyev. Volunteers of the Institute of Physiology prepared articles on the subjects “History of the development of physiology in Azerbaijan”, “Hypokinesia”, “Monoamine oxidase”, “Amino acids”, “Psychophysiology”, “Basal metabolism”, etc. and actively participated in trainings.

     On November 27, 2018, the staff members who completed the training, leading researcher Ph.D. Elmira Agayeva, leading researcher Ph.D. Armilla Azimova, junior researcher Solmaz Gadimova and junior researcher Gulnara Huseynova were awarded certificates.
