Today at the Institute of Physiology the informative workshop was held. At an event organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Zenfira Gadimova, Ph.D. in Biology, Leading Researcher and the chairman of the Council told about the rules for participation in the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union.

     Farid Seyfullayev, Ph.D. in Biology, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Central Botanical Garden of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the national contact person for food safety in the Horizon 2020 program, told about the structure of the Horizon 2020 program.

     Farid Seyfullaev, sharing information on the legal aspects of the program and on the rules for registering researchers, also spoke about the drafting of projects, the rules for submitting them and the evaluation of them by the commission.

     Then Zaur Hasanov, Ph.D. in History, the head of the "Archeology of the Antique Epoch" Department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the national contact person for the Maria Sklodowska-Curie scholarship program, spoke about the winning project Horizon 2020 and the stages of its achievement.

     In conclusion, the guests answered the questions of the participants of the event and wished them success in this direction.
