Elmira Panahova, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Physiology, head of the “Physiology of Vision” creative team, was sent on a business trip to the city of Moscow.
At the XVI European Congress of Psychology held in Moscow, she presented a report on the problems of the neurophysiological study of the interactions of the amygdala and the visual analyzer in experimental modeling of neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease) in animals in the process of aging. Information was also given on the use of turmeric and saffron in Azerbaijan as a geroprotector and compensator in older animals, on a neurophysiological study of vision and managerial behavior and the formation of memory during aging.
The report was heard with great interest.
