On November 18-20, 2019, "European Health Prevention Day" Congress was held by "Quality in Health Prevention" organization dealing with medical tourism in Wiesbaden, Germany. The experts and specialists involved in studying natural healing factors from France, Belgium, Slovakia, Czech Republic, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc. participated in the congress.
The event was also attended by the delegation of ANAS, headed by Prof. Ulduz Hashimova, Sc.D. in Biology, Director of the Institute of Physiology, ANAS. The delegation included Shovgi Huseynov, Ph.D. – Senior Researcher of "Molecular Basis of Integrative Activity" laboratory and Adil Aghayev - Chief Specialist of the 3rd research laboratory of Strategic Scientific Research Center.
Prof. Hashimova made a presentation on the findings of the experimental research on therapeutic action of naphthalan which is widely used in rehabilitation medicine and SPA-business. Also the delegation organized the stand presenting white naphthalan based cosmetic products.
It should be noted that the presentation and the stand attracted great interest of the representatives of other countries. In particular, University of Mainz (Germany), Slovak Medical University, Center of Experimental Biomedicine (Georgia) expressed their willingness to study the therapeutic action of white naphthalan as an innovative product of the Park of High Technologies of ANAS. In the future, it is planned to prepare a joint proposal within Horizon 2000 progarmme.
